Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how subscription cancellations and refunds work for Metro Novel, operated by MetroJournal Online LLP. Please read it together with our Terms of Use.
1. Free preview before you pay
The first three (3) chapters of every novel are free. We encourage you to read the free chapters to decide whether a subscription is right for you before purchasing.
2. Cancelling your subscription
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
- Cancellation stops future automatic renewals. You will continue to have access to paid content until the end of your current paid billing period.
- We do not automatically provide partial refunds for the unused part of a billing period.
3. Refunds
Because subscriptions provide immediate access to digital content, fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started. However, we will review refund requests and may issue a refund in cases such as:
- a duplicate or accidental charge;
- being charged after a valid cancellation;
- a verified technical failure on our side that prevented you from accessing the content you paid for and that we were unable to resolve.
4. How to request a refund
Email support@metrojournalonline.com within 7 days of the charge, from your registered email address, including your account email, the transaction/payment ID, and the reason for the request. We aim to respond within 3 business days.
5. How approved refunds are processed
Approved refunds are made to your original payment method through our payment processor, Razorpay. Once approved, refunds typically reach your account within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
